I just went back from the Parcel Collection Counter to get kueh raya which mom sent to me before Raya and WAS SUPPOSED to arrive before Raya. Pos Laju is not that laju after all. They really should consider for a name change. Raya cards flooding post offices nationwide should not be an excuse for them to delay delivery especially those delivered through Pos Laju.
Anyway, I was so excited at receiving the parcel that I just tore the wrapping off without bothering to keep the wrapping paper for myself. :)Inside the box, three plastic containers of kueh raya lay awaiting for me to munch into them. They were Almond Nut Brownies, Cornflakes Blueberry Biscuits and Walnut Oat Biscuits. When I opened the containers, to my dismay, the seductively sweet-smelling and mouth-watering Almond Nut Brownies was already infested with fungus. :(
Anyway, the other two are still edible. Here are the pictures.

Mom's Raya Delicacies
So enough of eyeing o_0 these biscuits. It's time to put it to the test of the tongue - taste. Though the brownies was infested with fungus, I manage to find one which was least affected and scraped the outer layer before tasting it. And as expected the taste is just nice. It must have been nicer if it weren't for the fungus.
Wow! Nothing beats mom's baking. Anyone interested? Welcome to my room. But there's not that much to feed too many mouths. I might even finish it all by myself. MMmmmmMMmmmm... :)
