Frustration

This post is dedicated to a dear friend of mine - you know who you are. ;)

The following is an item sent by an acquaintance. May we live our lives with more enthusiasm in every episode of our lives, which is presented to the Almighty with all the love in the world.


Why am I being tested?

[2] Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested?
[3] We did test those before them, and God certainly know those who are true from those who are false.

Why didn't I get what I've always wanted?

... But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But God knows, and you know not.
[Al-Baqarah (The Heifer) 2:216]

Why am I tested as difficult as this?

On no soul does God place a burden greater than it can bear...
[Al-Baqarah 2:286]

Feeling frustrated?

So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: for you must gain mastery if you are true in Faith.
[Ali-'Imran (The Family of 'Imran) 3:139]

How do I confront it?

O you who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear God; that you may prosper.
[Ali-'Imran 3:200]

Nay, seek (God's) help with patient perseverance and and prayer: it is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit.
[Al-Baqarah 2:45]


What will I get from all this?

God has purchased of the believers their persons and their goods, for theirs (in return) is the Garden (of Paradise)
[At-Taubah (The Repentance) 9:111]

To whom should I put my hope on?

...Say: "God suffices (is enough for) me: there is no god but He: on Him is my trust, - He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme!"
[At-Taubah 9:129]


I CAN'T STAND ALL THIS ANYMORE!!!

...and never give up hope on God's Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of God's Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith.
[Yusuf 12:87]

SubHanALLAH! Most Exalted is Allah!
Look at how the Qur'an provides all the answers to our desperation and suffering. May we be motivated by these words of Allah. May it motivates us all to present all the best there is we have to offer to Allah within our short span of age. May it be a cure to our hearts, which is hurt by despair, anger, sadness and loneliness.

Never despair, never give up because that is not the characteristic of a believer but of a non-believer. Put all our hopes on Allah for He alone knows what's best for us, for He alone is enough for us when all the people around us turn their backs on us.
